VitaFlow ("we", "our", or "us") is designed with a privacy-first approach. We believe your health data belongs to you. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle your information.
VitaFlow operates on a "local-first" basis. All your hydration logs, preferences, and personal statistics are stored locally on your device. We do not operate a backend server to store your personal data, nor do we sell your data to third parties.
You may choose to integrate VitaFlow with Apple HealthKit to sync your water intake and hydration data. This integration is entirely optional and controlled by you via your device settings. VitaFlow reads and writes data to HealthKit only to provide the app's core functionality. This data remains on your device and in your personal iCloud account (if enabled by you), and is not sent to our servers.
To provide predictive hydration goals based on weather conditions, VitaFlow requests access to your rough location. This location data is processed on-device to fetch local weather information and is not stored or tracked by us.
We do not use third-party analytics services that track your individual behavior across apps. Any diagnostic data sent to us (e.g., crash reports) is anonymized and aggregated by apple to help us improve app stability.
Since we do not store your data on our servers, you have full control over your information. You can delete your data at any time by deleting the app or managing your HealthKit data permissions.
